Directions for gathering manna:
1. 1 omer (about 6 or 7 pints) should be gathered for each person's daily portion
2. It should be gathered every morning except on Friday when a double portion would be gathered so as not to work on the Sabbath.
3. If any were kept over night it would turn sour, except on Friday night.
4. 1 omer was to be kept as a memorial for later generations and it was later put in the ark of the covenant.

1. It fell out of the sky each day, except on the Sabbath
2. It looked like a coriander seed which consisted of small white particles
3. It tasted like honey wafers
